Back with another new episode after a three week break, Charlie Day took over hosting duties for last night's (November 5) installment of "Saturday Night Live".
Clearly a fan favorite of the NBC sketch comedy program was a parody of current hot topic Kim Kardashian's divorce - as the mock E! special opened with a line reading, “Get ready for the latest Kardashian event - ‘Kim’s Fairytale Divorce.'"
With impersonations of family members including sisters Kourtney and Khloe, parents Kris and Bruce Jenner, as well as Lamar Odom, the clip shows Kim telling the cameras, “All week we’ve been just crying and crying and posing and crying and getting our anuses bleached.”
Portraying the E! reality star looking to the bright side upon conclusion, Miss Kardashian is heard saying, “Things are looking up for me - I’m single and there’s an NBA lockout.”
The latest SNL episode also saw Danny DeVito drop by with other noteworthy sketches including The Kings of Catchphrase Comedy, Weekend Update with a Rick Perry cameo, An Economic Meeting of the Greek Gods and a not-so-warmly-received Moammar Gadhafi cold open.
To cap it all off, the musical guest this time around was Maroon 5, with the group first performing their hit single “Moves Like Jagger" before returning to the stage with Gym Class Heroes‘ Travie McCoy for a rendition of “Stereo Hearts.”
